Hi, my name is Marie von Emster.  I am here on hub pages because I want to share my love of dogs with those of you out there that feel the same way!  I can't even begin to tell you how much reading I have done researching different subjects related to Benji (my 30 lb terrier with LOTS of energy).  One thing that always frustrates me is the inconsistency of information out there.  One person tells me one thing, and another tells me something completely different. 

My goal on hub pages is to simplify this information.  I will be reviewing new products and sharing my personal experiences.  I plan to break down the ominous world of dog food and help you understand what to look for in your dog's groomer and day care provider (and how to do some of these things on your own for much less money!)

I am well researched with a wide breadth of knowledge. I have been called a "jack of all trades"  which fits me because I love new challnges!  I have worked in several anial hospitals, both emergency and non-emergency.  I have assisted in the c-section of  a VERY pregnant boston terrier and aided an aging rottweiler with no hind legs, under constant supervision and fed through a syringe.  I am a groomer experienced in working with dogs large and small, docile and aggressive (and some VERY upset kitty cats...oh, and a bunny rabbit or two).  I have raised a guide dog for the blind, a challenging and eye opening experience.  Currently I am working at an awesome pet specialty and grooming store, Bow Wow Meow, where I am always discovering new products on the market.  My next goal is to open my own doggie daycare, and canine hydrotherapy center.
